Hassan Khader

Hassan Khader is a Palestinian writer and literary critic who works in Ramallah and Berlin, He was previously managing editor of al-Karmel journal and edited and published articles written by Mahmoud Darwish in the Parisian magazine al-Youm al Sabbe in the 1980’s (Institute for Palestine Studies, 2020).

Ghassan Zaqtan

Ghassan Zaqtan is a Palestinian poet, author of ten collections of poetry. He is also a novelist, editor. He was born in Beit Jala, near Bethlehem, and has lived in Jordan, Beirut, Damascus, and Tunis. His book “Like a Straw Bird it Follows me” translated by Fady Joudah was awarded the 2013 International Griffin Poetry Prize. His most recent book of poetry, The Silence That Remains, also translated by Fady Joudah, was published in 2017 by Copper Canyon Press.

Tamam Al-Akhal

Tamam Al-Akhal (born 1935) is a Palestinian artist and educator living in Jordan. Born in Jaffa, the daughter of Aref Al Akhal] in 1948, Al-Akhal left with her family to live in a refugee camp in Lebanon. She studied at the Fine Arts College in Cairo. From 1957 to 1960, she taught art at the Makassed Girls College in Beirut. In 1959, she married Ismail Shammout. Her husband died in 2006.

Yasser Abed Rabbo

Yasser Abed Rabbo also known by his kunya, Abu Bashar (born 17 September 1945) is a Palestinian politician and a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) Executive Committee.

Saad Q. Abdelhadi

An Electrical Engineer, specialized in software localization, Arabization since 1984 for Desk Top Publishing software, printing technologies and workflow automation.

The founder of Al Nasher Technical Services in 1990 in Jordan and in 1995 in Palestine, lead many PR, advertising and outreach campaigns in Palestine, Jordan and around the world. One of his latest important projects was the idea, design, and supervision of Palestine Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai.

Born in Nablus 1954, he worked in many civil society organizations working in development and policy research. He is now a board member at the Palestinian Center for Policy Research and Strategic Studies – Masarat, the Chairman of the General Assembly of Taawon, a founding board member of the Palestine Technology Park – Technopark, a member of the board of trustees of Mahmoud Darwish Foundation, and a member of the board of Trustees of Birzeit University.
